Today, the most effective and dynamic organizations in economic life are businesses. Well-organized, well-managed, and efficient use of resources is of vital importance for the development of the country, ensuring economic stability, and improving and increasing the competitiveness of the country. The needs of well-trained manpower in the fields of accounting, finance, marketing, organization, human resources, and production process management are increasing day by day. Due to the developing and complex production structure and techniques, rapid technological developments, opening up of countries to international competition, and the need to use resources effectively and efficiently, businesses need versatile trained manpower and manager candidates. At the same time, the need for qualified academicians who will train these managers in the field of business administration is increasing in our country.

The purpose of the doctorate of business administration program in this direction is to prepare the candidates for education and research positions in academic institutions, primarily as qualified academicians. In addition to theoretical knowledge in the field of study chosen by the student himself, the program provides competence in academic research. The main aim of doctoral study is to provide students with a critical perspective through an advanced and specialized education that directs them to original research. In addition, another goal of the program is to transfer the theories and methods necessary to examine the business world effectively to students and to develop their skills in this direction. The program aims to educate graduates who can make national and international quality publications by providing students with the opportunity to conduct independent research in the field of business and to make comments by examining scientific events from a broad perspective.
