Dental Prosthesis Technology

Dental Prosthesis Technology program; In order to restore lost teeth and their functions; It trains technicians who perform or provide laboratory studies of removable and fixed teeth and jaw prostheses applied to the jaw and face area of ​​the treatment planned by the dentist using up-to-date technologies. The purpose of the Dental Prosthesis Technology program; To train qualified "Dental Prosthesis Technicians" who can carry out the laboratory studies of the treatment planned by the dentist using the latest technology and the best materials. Students who graduated from the Dental Prosthesis Technology program; They can open their own dental prosthesis laboratories, work in dental prosthesis laboratories of public and private dental hospitals, dental prosthesis laboratories of public and private oral and dental health centers, dental prosthesis laboratories of private dental clinics and practices, and private companies that provide technical equipment for dental prosthesis.

It is estimated that approximately 30,000 dentists will be needed in our country in 2023 and the number of dentists will be around 20,000 as of the same period. According to these data, it is predicted that the demand for oral and dental health personnel will follow a similar course in parallel with the dentist shortage. Graduates are equipped with theoretical and practical knowledge, benefiting from the entire infrastructure of strong solution partners, and receive the necessary training to become perfect professionals.
