Operating Room Services

Operating room technicians working in the field of surgery, which is one of the leading treatment methods in the health sector, are the assistant health personnel who can use all the tools and devices in the operating room, prepare the operating room and participate in the operation. Operating room technicians have an important place in terms of ensuring the safety of patients who are vulnerable during surgery and maintaining sterilization. The low number of operating room technicians and the increasing number of inpatient healthcare institutions and organizations have increased the need for qualified healthcare professionals working in this field.

 

With Fenerbahçe University Operating Room Services Associate Degree Program, we aim to graduate our students as healthcare professionals who are sensitive to people, society and ethical principles, who have gained proficiency in their profession, who have gained universal qualifications, who have high communication skills, who can assist in surgery in all surgeries, are qualified, equipped with professional knowledge and skills. Our graduating students; they can work as "Operating Room Technician" in operating rooms in public and private sectors. In addition, they can transfer to Nursing, Nursing and Health Services, Emergency Aid and Disaster Management undergraduate programs with the Vertical Transition Exam (DGS).
