Anesthesia

The advancement of medical technology in the world creates a need for trained manpower that can use new anesthesia technologies in surgeries. In addition, with the development of surgical treatment methods and the proliferation of private and public hospitals, the need for assistant professionals is inevitable. In this context, there is an increasing need for anesthesia technicians who will assist the anesthesiologist in anesthesia procedures during surgery. The aim of the anesthesia program; to train health technicians who will assist authorized anesthesiologists in anesthesia applications in the health sector and will apply medical methods related to anesthesia during the surgery according to the instructions of the physician.

Our students of Fenerbahçe University's Anesthesia program department can take responsibility such as controlling all devices and equipment to be used in anesthesia, preparing the patient for anesthesia application, preparing the necessary drugs and materials according to the anesthesia method to be applied, helping the anesthesiologist in the safe application, maintenance and termination of anesthesia, and can work in the operating environment. They will graduate as skilled, qualified healthcare professionals equipped with up-to-date knowledge and skills in medicine. In addition, graduate students will be able to transfer to Emergency Aid and Disaster Management, Nursing, Health Management, Social Service departments with DGS (External Transfer Exam).
