Medical Imaging Techniques

Today, fighting diseases is only possible with early diagnosis and treatment. With the technology developed in the modern age, imaging devices have become quite fast and equipped, and they play an effective role in fighting the diseases. Reflecting the advanced technology of imaging devices into routine practice is only possible with well-trained and well-equipped healthcare professionals who have a good command of the technology of the devices they use and have strong relations with their environment. The Medical Imaging Techniques program within the Health Services Vocational School trains medical imaging technicians who are capable of using imaging devices such as radiography, mammography, computed tomography and magnetic resonance etc. in order to provide medical diagnosis. It is an associate degree program, and the education period is 2 years.

With the collaboration of Fenerbahçe University and Medicana Health Group, our students will be able to do their summer internships in the radiology departments of Medicana Health Group by having a practical training as well as theoretical knowledge. In addition, they can work actively in training, sales or technical service departments of companies that produce medical imaging devices.
