Medical Laboratory Techniques

Medical laboratory techniques is a department established to assist clinicians in health institutions in the diagnosis of disease 24 hours a day. They do this by applying various laboratory procedures, ranging from identifying microorganisms that are causative agents of infectious diseases to providing blood in emergency blood transfusions. Medical laboratory technicians receive training in biochemistry, hematology, immunology, microbiology, blood banking and laboratory management. They play a critical role in creating and managing the correct test results that clinicians need to provide quality healthcare to patients.

Fenerbahçe University Medical Laboratory Techniques program; raises healthcare professionals who perform medical analyzes in all departments of diagnosis and treatment laboratories such as biochemistry, hematology, microbiology, blood bank, genetics and endocrinology. Students who graduated from the Medical Laboratory Techniques program; They can work as "Medical Laboratory Technician" under the supervision of an expert in the laboratories of public and private health institutions.
