We Are Moving With The Responsibility Of Raising The Communicators Of Digital Transformation ...

 

In Fenerbahçe University's Faculty of Communication, our main mission is to train forward-looking, innovative and questioning communicators. Our faculty prepares its students for the business world and academy as well-equipped communication experts with a training plan in line with the requirements of digital transformation. The importance of visual and auditory elements as well as words in producing meaning are the main reasons why we offer our students an integrated education supported by digital applications. In this context, we aim to graduate competent students who can develop critical thinking and transform their theoretical knowledge into practice.

 

In addition to our strong academic staff, we meet with our students in 3 different undergraduate departments within the scope of our curriculum prepared in line with international standards. In our "Public Relations and Advertising", "Radio, Television and Cinema" and "New Media and Communication" departments, an education approach that intertwines theory and practice is adopted. Fenerbahçe University’s Faculty of Communication, while educating its students with the social and technological reflections of the digital revolution, attaches importance to the absorption of professional ethics and basic theoretical knowledge of the profession and to blending this knowledge with practice. Our education program, developed in line with the reflections of artificial intelligence and Industry 4.0 in the field of communication, aims to bring our students to the communication sector as creative graduates who have professional equipment,  produce content and feed the produced content with visual and audio elements. In this direction, our faculty, which creates research areas that combine digital revolution with human needs / expectations and ethics, from digital public relations practices to online marketing strategies, from the problematic of public space in social media to new approaches in radio and television broadcasting, educates individuals who keep a projection for the future.

 

Our graduates can find employment opportunities in various media channels, public relations-advertising agencies, and all departments of institutions operating in different sectors with the education they receive in accordance with the requirements of the digital age.
