Dean's Message

Opened in the 2019-2020 academic year, Fenerbahçe University Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, has adopted the vision of being one of the most respected faculties of the world, by raising innovative, investigative, entrepreneurial and qualified graduates who are able to think both analytically and critically. With the excitement and dynamism of being a newly established faculty, rather than adopting a conservative traditional approach, our perspective towards education and curricula have been created with modern criteria and thoughts in order to be in line with and go beyond developing world standards. Thanks to the diversity of both field electives and thematic electives in the curricula designed with innovative approaches, our students have an educational atmosphere in which they can turn their face towards interdisciplinary work, develop their critical perspectives, produce freely and follow their ideas.

Our students are provided with the opportunity to be intertwined with the sector and to apply what they have learned in practice, with the compulsory two-term internship application in all our departments operating within our faculty and the graduation projects prepared by our students in the last year of their formal education. Moreover, having the chance of receiving education through existing exchange programs at distinguished universities in various countries, students can gain international experience in their fields. With double major and minor programs, they can become students of another department/program that they are interested in and have the chance to become more competent individuals in their fields.

I wish our national and international students who have joined us a successful and happy university life with our strong, dynamic and competent academic staff who will guide and help them in every way through their education.
