Lateral/Internal Transfer Application Form

Applications are to be filed in person by visiting Student Affairs Directorate or online from the address https://ois.fbu.edu.tr/ogrenciler/yataygecisbasvuru/form, no application documentation shall be accepted via mail/cargo.

ESSENTIAL DATA AND PARTICULARS REGARDING APPLICATION PROCEDURES

In 2020-2021 Spring Semester, it is applied to the undergraduate programs according to the central placement score points.
In 2020-2021 Spring Semester, it is applied to the associate programs according to the central placement score points and average.
Students registering according to the result of the special talent exam are entitled to file application according to the central placement score point, however are not to matriculate in such programs admitting students through special talent exam by submitting their central placement score points.
At the Spring Semester, it is not to be accepted any lateral transfer applications from undergraduate level programs from universities abroad or in KKTC (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus).

Conditions For Application According To Central Placement Score Point

In the event the central placement point score of the student in his/her year of matriculation/registry is equal to or higher than the base point of the diploma program desired to be transferred to, the student is entitled to file an application for lateral transfer including the preparatory class therefor, according to his/her central placement score point.

Inter-institutional Lateral Transfer Application Conditions

Inter-institutional lateral transfer is made between equivalent diploma programs of the same level under higher education institutions. For Inter-institutional lateral transfer, general grade point average of the student in the program registered before should be at least 60 over 100 (2.29 over 4). Applications could be made for the 2^nd semester of associate programs.

In-house/Intra-Institutional Lateral Transfer Application Conditions

In-house/Intra-Institutional lateral transfer procedures are conducted within framework of the provisions under Article – 9 of “Regulation About Transfer Between Programs Of Associate and Undergraduate Levels At Higher Education Institutions".

Conditions For Lateral Transfer Institutions From Abroad

Lateral transfer procedures from institutions abroad are conducted within framework of the provisions under Article – 14 of “Regulation About Transfer Between Programs Of Associate and Undergraduate Levels At Higher Education Institutions". Spring semester quotas for lateral transfers from abroad are valid for Associate first class second semester programs.

At the time of final registry/matriculation, it is asked a document received from the then-registered university, to the effect that there is no impediment regarding his/her lateral transfer.
