In today's information society, it is very important for corporations operating in an open and competitive environment to fulfill their moral and ethical responsibilities as well as maintain their economic existence. In this competitive environment, corporations should benefit from public relations and advertising disciplines in order to carry out communication activities  like designing social responsibility campaigns,  regulate their relations with their stakeholders, separate from their competitors and create brand loyalty. Public Relations and Advertising Department, which aims to meet the needs of today's information age brings together the fields of public relations and advertising that interact with each other within the scope of an integrated education. Today, the expansion of the fields of activity of the cinema and television industries makes it necessary to produce and organize content suitable for digital platforms. This necessity leads to an increase in the need for qualified production and publishing staff with field-specific theoretical background and professional competence. In this context, the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema aims to train individuals who have basic knowledge and equipment in various fields such as establishing connections with different disciplines, evaluating the concepts related to the field, constructing radio, television and cinema texts, and using imaging and broadcasting equipment. With the development of information technologies, traditional media environments such as newspapers, radio and television have evolved into digital media. The fact that information can be accessed and broadcast anytime anywhere through digital media also makes specialization in the field of new media more important every day. Therefore, today's communication professionals are expected to be competent in content production and publishing on online platforms as well as in traditional media environments. New Media and Communication Department has a rich educational curriculum that includes different media areas shaped by information technologies as well as traditional media.
