The Cultural Attaché of Saudi Arabia Visited Our University

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Faisal Abdulrahman OSRA, the Cultural Attaché of Saudi Arabia, visited our university and engaged in significant discussions. During his visit, a comprehensive meeting was held with the participation of our Rector Prof. Dr. Fatma KANCA, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Mehmet Yıldırım ÜÇTUĞ, Prof. Dr. Ahmet SELAMOĞLU, and Prof. Dr. Şükriye Güniz KÜÇÜKGÜZEL, alongside other members of the university administration. The meeting focused on exploring academic and cultural collaboration opportunities between our university and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

 

In particular, the discussions highlighted student exchange programs, initiatives to strengthen cultural ties between the two countries, and potential joint academic research projects. Ideas were exchanged on enhancing educational opportunities for Saudi students at our university, including scholarship options and deepening academic partnerships.

 

One of the key outcomes discussed was the official recognition of Fenerbahçe University's diploma in Saudi Arabia, which had been successfully achieved through previous efforts. This meeting provided an opportunity to celebrate this significant milestone, as both sides expressed their satisfaction with the recognition. The achievement was seen as a crucial step in strengthening educational ties, and it paved the way for further cooperation in academic and cultural exchanges between Fenerbahce University and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
