What are the advantages of voluntary education in the English Preparatory Program?
Students are provided with opportunities as follows:
Optional English prep program is a non-compulsory preparatory program taken by the students of the department offering 100% Turkish education.
You can enroll in the preparatory education by submitting your petition stating that you want to take optional English preparatory education during the registration process to the Faculty or College you have won.
If graduate students apply with a petition stating that they want to study preparatory education during pre-registration, they can receive an optional preparatory education.
The normal duration of education in the Department of Foreign Languages Optional Preparatory Program is 1 (one) academic year. Students who are successful or not, at the end of this one year, start classes in their programs at the University at the beginning of the following academic year.
Students enrolled in the optional foreign language preparatory class can leave the preparatory class with a petition until the end of the add / drop period. Those who exceed this period cannot leave the preparatory class.
Optional foreign language preparatory class students do not have to take the obligatory English Proficiency exam (FBU-PROFICIENCY) at the beginning of the semester. If they want to study preparatory education, they are obliged to take the FBU-PLACEMENT exam held on the date announced by the School of Foreign Languages. They have to participate in all assessment and evaluation processes in the modules during their education.
