As the Canary Technology Club, we organized a joint chess tournament with the Chess Club to test "Mechanical Canary," the artificial intelligence-powered chess engine we developed using Python.

In the tournament, participants had the opportunity to play classic chess matches against each other while also competing against the artificial intelligence of Mechanical Canary. By including our self-developed chess engine as a player in the tournament, we tested the performance of the program we created in a short time and facilitated strategic encounters between real players and artificial intelligence.

This event provided an exciting and educational opportunity for participants to explore the interaction between artificial intelligence and chess, as well as observe the impact of algorithms on game strategies. Bringing together technology and chess enthusiasts, the tournament offered an innovative experience in both software development and chess.
