The YÖKAK External Evaluation Team to Visit Fenerbahçe University

As part of the ‘YÖKAK External Evaluation’ implemented by the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK) to improve the quality of higher education institutions and contribute to quality assurance, the YÖKAK External Evaluation Team conducted an online preliminary visit on November 26, followed by a field visit to our university from December 15 to 18.

The field visit program, conducted to perform an external evaluation of higher education institutions with an aim to promote the internalization and spread of a quality assurance culture, began with the visit of the YÖKAK External Evaluation Team to our Rector, Prof. Dr. Fatma KANCA, and Board of Trustees member, Prof. Dr. Emin Arat, in his office. A meeting was held with members of the Institutional Quality Commission, the Senate, and the Board of Directors, as well as external stakeholders, unit managers, academic staff, students, directors and staff of administrative units, and research center directors. The team visited the university library, laboratories, and education, training, and research areas on-site. They concluded the process by presenting the exit declaration to the university's senior management.
