According to the World Confederation of Physical Therapy, physiotherapy is defined as the field of health science responsible for maintaining, developing, and regaining individual’s maximum movement abilities throughout their lifetimes. Physiotherapy is applied as one of the basic treatment methods in dysfunctions that develop in individuals due to various diseases and injuries. Physiotherapy plays an active role in improving mobility and functionality and reducing the pain of individuals with neurological, orthopedic, rheumatological, muscular, or skeletal diseases.
Fenerbahçe University Physiotherapy (English) Program started to accept its first students in the 2021-2022 academic year with its professional academic staff. Our graduates are assistant health care professionals who attach importance to human health and ethical values, can use technological tools in the field of physiotherapy and apply electrophysical agents and take an active role in the field of rehabilitation.
Our graduates, thanks to their high level of knowledge and foreign language skills, have the opportunity to work in national and international health institutions such as services in inpatient treatment centers, primary health care institutions, retirement homes, vocational rehabilitation centers, spas, and home care centers
