ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR MASTER'S PROGRAM WITH THESIS

The primary areas of study in organizational behavior include various factors at the organizational level, such as individual behaviors, group dynamics, teamwork, communication, leadership, conflict management, and decision-making processes. It also encompasses organizational factors like structure, culture, change management, policies, and power dynamics. Additionally, it considers external environmental factors, including technological changes, globalization, and the impact of market dynamics on the organization. Finally, understanding the sources of behavior and identifying the factors that influence individual behavior, happiness, and well-being are also crucial aspects of this field. The Organizational Behavior Master's Program is designed to cultivate knowledge and skills in recognizing and analyzing human behavior within organizations. It focuses on understanding how human behavior interacts with other organizational variables and aims to guide behavior towards enhancing both the happiness of employees and the overall efficiency of enterprises.

The aim of the studies conducted in the field of Organizational Behavior is to increase the productivity, welfare, and well-being of employees and workplaces. Research and application topics include issues such as Employee Peace Development, Employee Training and Development, Career Planning, Performance Management, Remuneration, Motivation, Leadership, Attitudes Towards Work and Organization, Employee Welfare and Well-Being, Quality of Work Life, Increasing the Harmony between Employer and Employee, Human-Machine Interaction and Job Design, Organizational Development and Change Management.

With the changes and transformations in the business world, there has been a growing recognition of the importance of the human factor in the workplace. Nowadays it is understood that improving organizational efficiency greatly enhances a company's impact on global market share. As a result of the increasing interest and demand in this area, it has become essential to develop postgraduate programs focused on these themes.  In this direction, it is clear that the Organizational Behavior master's program will lead to people being educated in this field filling a significant gap in business life.

Application Requirements

1. Having graduated from 4-year undergraduate programs of universities in the Republic of Turkey, or universities abroad whose equivalence is accepted by the Council of Higher Education.

2. Having a minimum score of 55 points from the Equal Weighted (EA) or Numerical (SAY) sections of the Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Examination (ALES) taken within the last five years. Alternatively, candidates may present an equivalent score from an internationally recognized exam accepted by the Council of Higher Education.

3. Candidates who are Turkish citizens studying abroad must apply to the Council of Higher Education for the equivalence of the higher education institution they are studying in and obtain an equivalence certificate. A certificate of equivalence must be submitted at the time of enrollment at the university.

International Student Application Requirements

1.   Having graduated from 4-year undergraduate programs of universities in the Republic of Turkey or universities abroad whose equivalence is accepted by the Council of Higher Education.

2.   Foreign nationals applying to master's programs conducted in Turkish must meet one of the following requirements:

a. They must have graduated from a bachelor's or graduate program taught in Turkish at any higher education institution, either in the Republic of Turkey or abroad.

b. Alternatively, they must possess an official certificate demonstrating that they have achieved at least a B2 level score or equivalent on the Turkish proficiency exam administered by either the Fenerbahçe University Turkish Teaching Application and Research Center, the Yunus Emre Institute, or any Turkish teaching centers of other universities in the Republic of Turkey.

Application Documents         

All documents must be prepared in Turkish or English. For documents in other languages, translations in Turkish or English must also be submitted.

1.  Bachelor's Degree diploma or E-Government Graduation Certificate

2.  Transcript (wet signed-barcoded from the University) or E-Government Transcript Document

3.  Original Barcoded Exam Result Certificate showing that a minimum score of 55 points has been obtained from the Equal Weighted (EA) or Numerical (SAY) sections of the Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Examination (ALES) or Equivalent Exam Result Certificate

4.  Photocopy of Identity Card

5.  E-Government Military Status Certificate

6.  3 Photographs

7.  Council of Higher Education Equivalence Certificate for Graduations Abroad

International Student Application Documents

1.  Bachelor's Degree diploma or Graduation certificate and a notarized copy translated into Turkish

2.  Original and notarized copy of the transcript document translated into Turkish

3.   Council of Higher Education Equivalence Certificate/School Recognition Certificate

(Foreign nationals who will apply for a master's degree or doctorate are not required to apply for equivalence, except in the fields of health.) They may apply by obtaining a "School Recognition Certificate" from the Council of Higher Education. However, it is recommended that they also begin equivalence procedures to be able to practice their profession. They are required to submit the diploma equivalency certificate at the time of application to graduate programs in Nursing, Medicine, Dentistry, and Midwifery)

4.  Turkish Language Certificate (at least B2 level proficiency)

5.   Copy of passport

6.   3 Photographs

7.   Residence Identity Card (Health insurance and 4 photos required in the residence application for those who do not have a Residence Identity Card)

The success ranking of the candidates is formulated by taking into account the graduation grade point average and the interview result specified in the admission conditions. In the event that the primary candidates do not register, the same procedure will be applied for the substitute candidates. The total quota for the program is 15.
