TÖMER Managers Met at DÖDAK

Fenerbahçe University Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center Manager, Lecturer Egemen Ozan SÖNMEZ attended the Language Centers Managers Information Meeting organized online by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Language Learning/Preparatory Centers (DÖDAK) on April 8, 2025.

Approximately 150 managers from 95 different universities took part in the event, which was moderated by Prof. Dr. Nezir Temur, DÖDAK Chairman of the Board of Directors. Prof. Dr. Temur provided detailed information about the history of the association, its working principles, and the accreditation process. He also described the steps that institutions seeking accreditation should follow.

Additionally, the system’s functioning was demonstrated through examples using documents and forms available on DÖDAK’s official website. The meeting concluded with a productive exchange of questions, opinions, and suggestions from participants.

FBUTÖMER Director Egemen Ozan Sönmez emphasized that the meeting was an important step toward ensuring quality assurance and supporting the institutional development of TÖMER centers.
